박진형 교수의 연구실은 금융공학과 반도체·의료전자소자 분야에서 다학제적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 보험사 주가 수익률의 금리 민감도 분석, P/C 보험사의 다각적 영업 시스템 효율성 평가, 그리고 1T-DRAM 메모리의 고성능 설계 등 금융시장과 기술 혁신의 융합을 중심으로 연구를 전개하고 있습니다. 또한 고성능 무선 통신 시스템 설계 및 의료영상 보안 기술 개발을 통해 실생활 응용 가능성을 확장하고 있습니다.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is twofold: first, this paper measures how much liquidity is transformed by the US life insurance industry for the sample period; and Second, this study tests the “risk absorption” hypothesis and “financial fragility-crowding out” hypothesis to identify the impact of capital on liquidity creation in the US life insurance industry.
