연구실 소개
장인권 교수의 연구실은 연료전지, 특히 망융탄산염 연료전지(MCFC)의 핵심 부품인 금속 이중판(Shielded Slot Plate 및 Center Plate)의 가공 공정과 구조 설계에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 고성능 및 내구성을 확보하기 위해 세 단계 성형 공정, 비틀림 및 탄성 복귀 현상 제어, 유량 분포 최적화 등에 대한 수치 해석 및 공정 최적화를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 유한요소해석과 CFD를 활용한 3차원 공정 시뮬레이션을 통해 실용적이고 안정적인 제조 공정을 개발하고 있습니다.

The metallic bipolar plates of the molten carbonate fuel cell(MCFC) are composed of shielded slot plates and a center-plate. The shielded slot plates support the center-plate and the membrane electrode assembly. Compressive forces are applied to the shielded slot plate in order to increase the contact area between shielded slot plates and the membrane electrode assembly (MEA). In the design of the shielded slot plate, it is necessary to predict the mechanical behavior of the shielded slot plate.
