연구실 소개
한진희 교수의 연구실은 뇌의 기억 형성 메커니즘을 해독하기 위해 신경 회로의 경쟁적 선택과 엔그램(기억 흔적)의 생성 원리를 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 뇌의 편도체와 prefrontal 회선을 중심으로 불안 기억 형성과 행동 조절의 신경 기반을 밝혀내며, CREB 단백질과 시냅스 가소성의 역할을 실험적으로 규명하고 있습니다. 최근에는 옵토지노믹스와 유전자 조작 기술을 활용해 특정 신경 회로를 조작함으로써 기억의 선택적 기록과 삭제를 가능하게 하는 기초 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 이는 향후 정신질환의 신경 기반 치료법 개발에 기여할 잠재력을 지닙니다.
