연구실 소개
김지연 교수의 연구실은 주로 대사질환, 특히 당뇨병과 관련된 천연물의 생리적 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 옥수수 껍질 추출물, 송잎 추출물, 적삼근 유래 화합물 등 천연물질의 혈당 조절 및 Insulin 감수성 향상 효과를 기초 및 임상 연구로 검증하고 있으며, 이와 관련된 분자 기전과 생체 내 효과를 다각도로 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 식품안전 및 기능성 소재 개발 분야에서도 식품 병원성 박테리아의 신속 진단 기술과 식물성 전분의 기능성 변형 기술을 함께 연구하고 있습니다.

This study was a randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled trial to assess the efficacy of 4 weeks of mulberry leaf aqueous extract (MLAE) supplementation (5 g/day) for postprandial glycemic control in 36 subjects with impaired fasting glucose (IFG) tolerance. Postprandial responses in the glucose, insulin, and C-peptide levels were measured after a carbohydrate load both at baseline and after 4 weeks of MLAE supplementation. The patients with NERD than ERD suffered more from the symptoms and disturbance in Korea. Sleep dysfunction and anxiety mood were higher and QOL was decreased in GERD, especially in NERD, suggesting that those factors might affect the severity of NERD.

The objective of this present study was to determine the structural, physicochemical, and in-vitro digestibility properties of cross-linked rice starch with citric acid (CARS). Native rice starch (NRS) was cross-linked with different concentrations of citric acid (0, 1, 10, and 30%, w/w) of starch dry basis.
