연구실 소개
한종철 교수의 연구실은 주로 망막신경섬유층과 시신경두부의 구조적 변화를 고해상도 산란광학단층촬영(EDI-OCT)을 활용해 분석하며, 특히 근시성 및 정상내압성 녹내망의 병태생리학적 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 축구공처럼 기울어진 시신경두부나 라amina cribrosa의 구조적 손상 등 시신경두부의 기형적 특성과 시신경 손상의 연관성을 다루며, 신경세포 보존과 조기 진단을 위한 인공지능 기반 진단 알고리즘 개발도 함께 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 내과적 요법과 수술적 치료의 장기적 결과 비교를 통한 치료 전략 최적화에도 기여하고 있습니다.

Although having the same IOP-related factors, if diurnal fluctuation is included, different results may be found on the relationship between IOP-related factors and NTG progression. Based on our results, diurnal fluctuation in IOP should be considered when IOP-related factors are studied in the future.
