김정훈 교수의 연구실은 암 치료의 정밀성과 효율성을 높이기 위해 목표 지향적 약물 전달 및 다기능 테라노스틱 시스템 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 특히 생체 내에서 활성화되는 효소나 세포 내 미토콘드리아와 같은 특정 세포소기관을 타겟으로 하여 약물의 선택적 방출과 동시에 치료 반응을 실시간으로 모니터링할 수 있는 기술을 핵심으로 합니다. 또한, 생체적합성 높은 나노소재와 광열/광역학 치료를 융합한 새로운 치료 전략도 개발하고 있습니다.

UNLABELLED: The development of targeted and effective theranostic (therapeutic and diagnostic) chemotherapeutic agents is highly desirable for precise diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
