연구실 소개
박정화 교수의 연구실은 신경외과 영역에서의 신경모니터링 기술과 척추수술의 안정성 향상을 위한 생체역학적 고정 기법을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 수술 중 신경기능을 실시간으로 평가하는 신경생리학적 모니터링(IOM)과 S2알라일리악(S2AI) 고정술을 통해 척추변형 수술의 생체역학적 안정성을 높이는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 뇌영상 기술을 활용한 경도 뇌손상 환자의 미세출혈 검출에도 기여하고 있습니다. 또한, 생물학적 신호전달 경로와 유전자 조절 메커니즘을 규명함으로써 모기의 번식 조절 원리를 밝히는 생물학적 연구도 함께 수행하고 있습니다.

OBJECTIVE: Susceptibility-weighted image (SWI) is a sensitive magnetic resonance image (MRI) technique to detect cerebral microbleeds (MBLs), which would not be detected by conventional MRI. New soluble anthracene derivatives containing thiophene and phenylenevinylene derivatives were synthesized via well-known synthetic routes. TIPS derivatives were added at the 9,10-positions of anthracene for the solubility and crystallinity. Both of the molecules were found to be promising for high charge mobility and stable organic semiconductors. The soluble anthracene core (TIPSAnt) is a potential precursor for the synthesis of novel semiconducting materials.
A rigid spino-pelvic fixation to anchor long constructs is crucial to maintain the stability of long fusion in spinal deformity surgery. We report a new class of anthracene-thiophene-based copolymers, PAT4. The UV-vis absorption spectrum of PAT4 was broad and covered the full range of the solar spectrum. The hole mobility of PAT4 was high, up to 0.037 cm(2) V(-1) s(-1). PAT4-based organic solar cells showed promising power conversion efficiencies of 1.7%.

The catalytic oxidation of a representative volatile organic compound, benzene, with ozone at a low temperature was investigated.
