연구실 소개

홍종원 교수의 연구실은 재생의료와 복합손상 치료를 핵심으로 하며, 특히 혈관 및 신경 재건, 피부 손상 치유, 면역조절 메커니즘을 중심으로 한 줄기세포 치료 전략 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 인간 태반 추출물과 혈액 줄기세포를 활용한 만성상처 치유 메커니즘, 그리고 미세외과적 혈관 재건 기술의 표준화에도 기여하고 있습니다. 특히 신경재건, 피부재생, 면역조절을 통합적으로 고려한 임상적 응용 연구가 특징입니다.

We concluded that CB-MSC had a positive effect on wound healing. Statistically significant results were noted in the topical injection model. Hyaluronic acid filler injection is widely used for soft tissue augmentation. However, there can be disastrous complications by direct vascular embolization. The authors carried out microsurgical training using a protocol that added the time factor to the conventional evaluation studies. Microsurgical practice with pig legs statistically saves time and improves the skill in 3 full procedures including 5 practice end-to-end arterial anastomoses. This is an effective and economic method of developing the basic techniques performed during anastomosis procedures.

We performed all surgeries taking care not to transgress the wide excision principle with the remnant hypopharyngeal wall. For remnant lesions greater than 3 cm, patch-type RFFF was performed, whereas for those less than 3 cm, omega-shaped RFFF was done. We achieved fairly good results in both groups without total resection of the narrow remnant hypopharyngeal wall.

In this study, the concept of TDDO and bone graft seemed to promote new bone formation. The role of the TD could include bone regeneration from distraction osteogenesis as well as autogenous bone graft, although it needs more investigation.
