연구실 소개
김종욱 교수의 연구실은 종양 생물학과 대사질환, 특히 암 발생과 관련된 유전자 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. Myc 전사 인자와 microRNA의 상호작용을 통해 세포 분열과 운명 결정을 조절하는 분자 경로를 규명하며 암의 발병 기전을 밝혀내고자 합니다. 또한 대사증후군과 전립선암의 연관성, 만성 이소성 뇨도 기능 장애 모델에서의 보호제 효과 등 임상적 응용가능성이 높은 질환에 대한 기초 및 번역 연구도 함께 수행하고 있습니다. 특히, 환자의 불편을 줄이기 위한 비침습적 진단 기법 개선 및 온라인 건강정보 프로그램 개발을 통해 환자 중심의 의료 접근을 추구합니다.
