박종헌 교수의 연구실은 모바일 환경에서의 사용자 행동 예측, 분산 실시간 제어 아키텍처, 자원 할당 제어 정책, 웹 서비스 간의 원자적 거래(coordination), 그리고 분산 인터넷 자원 공유 등 첨단 정보 시스템과 네트워크 기반의 실시간 운영 체계에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 특히 사용자 이동 패턴의 주기성 분석, 유연한 자동화 생산 시스템의 제어 설계, 다중 도메인 간 자원 공유 프로토콜 개발 등 실질적인 응용이 가능한 기반 기술을 연구하고 있습니다. 이는 스마트 시티, 지능형 제조, 클라우드 기반 협업 시스템 등 미래형 인프라의 핵심 기술을 견인하고 있습니다.
