연구실 소개

심주리 교수의 연구실은 세포 내 단백질 분비 경로, 특히 에르고지오미외의 비정상적 단백질 분비(비정상적 단백질 분비, UPS)의 분자 기전을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 유전자 변이로 인한 단백질 오남열과 세포막으로의 정상적 도달 실패를 유발하는 질환, 예를 들어 낭포성 섬유증과 선천성 청각장애의 병태생리에서 UPS 경로를 통해 병변 단백질의 세포 표면 재배치를 회복시키는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한, 병원성 박테리아와 바이러스의 감염 메커니즘, 면역 반응 조절, 그리고 짧은 사슬 지방산(SFCA)이 면역세포 이동과 염증 반응에 미치는 영향 등 면역학적 및 감염병 생물학 분야의 다학제적 연구도 수행하고 있습니다.
