연구실 소개

배중면 교수의 연구실은 고온에서 뛰어난 전기적 성능을 보이는 산화물 기반 전극 재료, 특히 스마륨과 스트론티움 도핑된 레이어형 퍼보스카이트를 중심으로 중간온도에서 작동하는 고체산화물 연료전지(SOFC)의 효율성을 극대화하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 전도도 향상과 전기화학적 거시적 저항 감소를 위한 복합 전극 설계 및 나노구조 제어 기술을 개발하며, 에너지 변환 효율 향상을 위한 신소재 개발에 기여하고 있습니다. 특히, 산화물 전극의 표면 반응성과 전도성 메커니즘을 깊이 있게 분석하여 실용화 가능한 전지 구조를 설계하는 데 주력하고 있습니다.

The electrochemical characteristics of the samarium and strontium doped layered perovskite (SmBa 1− x Sr x Co 2 O 5+δ, x = 0.5) have been investigated for possible application as a cathode material for an intermediate temperature-operating solid oxide fuel cell (IT-SOFC). The cathodic polarization of single-phase and composite cathodes with 10 mol % gadolinia-doped ceria (Ce 0.9 Gd 0.1 O 2−δ, CGO91) shows that a weight ratio between SmBa 0.5 Sr 0.5 Co 2 O 5+δ (SBSCO) and CGO91 of 1:1 (50 wt % SB
