이정찬 교수의 연구실은 생물처리 및 의료기기 분야에서 혁신적인 기술 개발을 주요 연구 방향으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 막 생물반응기(MBR)를 활용한 수질 정화 기술과 약물 분포 최적화를 위한 의료장치 설계, 그리고 응급실에서의 신속한 진단 기반의 스마트 휴대기기 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 약물 흡착, 약물 전달 효율 향상, 그리고 실시간 혈액 검사 기반의 포인트온케어 기기 개발을 통해 임상 현장의 효율성과 안전성을 동시에 향상시키는 데 기여하고 있습니다.

In this study, alum and natural zeolite were added to a submerged membrane bioreactor (MBR) not only to reduce membrane fouling but also to increase the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus. Alum addition reduced significantly the rising rate of suction pressure and also resulted in stable and better COD removal. This study examined the treatment efficacy and the damage to the blood during hemoperfusion for treating paraquat poisoning using two blood pump mechanisms. 글쓰기 교육을 위한 과학 텍스트 분석 연구

본 연구는 ‘과학 글쓰기’에 대한 기존의 개념을 비판적으로 점검하고, 아울러 과학 텍스트의 특징을 고찰함으로써 대학교 교양 교육으로서의 ‘과학 글쓰기’에 적합한 교육 내용을 제안하고자 한다. 과학 글쓰기란 ‘과학계에서 사용하는 지배적인 논증 방식을 통해 실험 혹은 연구의 과정을 객관화하고 거기서 얻어낸 자료를 통해 결론을 일반화하는 일련의 논증 텍스트를 산출’하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 이는 개념화를 통한 논리의 구축, 수치화 및 추론을 통한 인과성의 강조, 귀납적 방법론에 기초한 배열 방식, 문법적 은유와 피동형 문장의 사용 등 과학계에서 사용하는 지배적인 논증의 방식과 그 논증 방식에 적합한 언어적 형식으로 특징지을 수 있다. 따라서 과학 글쓰기 교육이란 단순히 텍스트의 형식만을 대상으로 하는 것이 아닌 학습자로 하여금 과학적 논증의 방식에 대한 이해, 그러한 논증의 방식을 적용하거나 활용해서 타당한 결론을 도출하도록 하는 논증 과정에 대한 이해, 이러한 논증의 방식을 효과적으로
