연구실 소개

정 가 영 교수의 연구실은 주로 G 단백질 결합 수용체(GPCR)의 구조적 다이나믹스와 신호 전달 메커니즘을 해독하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 β-아드레날린 수용체와 β-아드레날린 수용체 결합 단백질의 기능적 다이나믹스를 19F NMR, HDX-MS, SAXS 등의 고해상도 분석 기법을 통해 정밀하게 규명하고 있으며, 수용체-효소 상호작용의 구조적 기반을 밝혀내고자 합니다. 또한, 나트륨-칼슘 교환단백질의 스플라이싱 유전자 변형이 신호 조절에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 동적 구조 분석을 통해 기전을 규명하고 있습니다.

The G protein-coupled β(2)-adrenoreceptor (β(2)AR) signals through the heterotrimeric G proteins G(s) and G(i) and β-arrestin. Arrestins were initially identified for their role in homologous desensitization and internalization of G protein-coupled receptors.
