연구실 소개
남가람 교수의 연구실은 심장수술 및 중환자 치료 분야에서의 임상적 결과 최적화를 목표로 하며, 특히 심장이식 환자의 수술 전후 관리와 혈액 수혈 영향, 산소 농도 조절이 수술 결과에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한 혈관 카테터 삽입 기법 개선과 같은 실질적인 의료 기술 향상에도 기여하고 있으며, 특히 뇌간질환 환자나 경추 불안정성 환자에서의 기관삽입 기법 선택에 있어 척추 안정성을 고려한 최적의 접근법을 모색하고 있습니다. 이와 더불어, 유전자 및 RNA 가공 효소의 생화학적 기전 연구를 통해 분자 수준의 기초 연구도 병행하고 있습니다.

15Yeast RNA lariat debranching enzyme has been purified to near homogeneity using a bacterial overproducer of the enzyme.
