연구실 소개

신기순 교수의 연구실은 신경세포와 근육세포의 전기적 활성화 메커니즘을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 허브레오폴라라이제이션-활성화 칼륨 채널(I(h) 채널)와 인wardly rectifying K+ 채널(IRK 채널)의 기능 및 발현 조절 메커니즘을 전기생리학적·분자생물학적 접근으로 연구하고 있습니다. 신경계의 이온 균형 유지와 근육 형성 과정에서의 이온 채널 기능의 중요성을 밝혀내는 데 기여하고 있습니다.

Hyperpolarization-activated cation currents (I(h)) are key determinants of repetitive electrical activity in heart and nerve cells. We examined the developmental change of inwardly rectifying K+ channels (IRK) and its possible role in myogenesis.
