연구실 소개
오기원 교수의 연구실은 뼈 대사와 대사질환 간의 상관관계를 중심으로, 비만, 인슐린 저항성, 호르몬 및 유전자 다형성 등이 뼈질량과 골다공로피아에 미치는 영향을 다룹니다. 특히 어드립오신, 옥시프로테이저린(OG), RANKL 시스템, 그리고 유전자 다형성과 같은 생물학적 마커들이 뼈 건강에 어떻게 작용하는지 기초 및 임상 연구를 병행하고 있습니다. 또한 한국인을 대상으로 한 인구집단 연구를 통해 뼈와 대사, 심혈관 질환 간의 유전자 기반 연관성을 규명하고자 합니다.
