연구실 소개
김동환 교수의 연구실은 뇌내압 모니터링을 위한 초음파적 지표인 시신경鞘막 직경(Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter, ONSD)의 정상값과 영향 요인을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 눈의 가로직경과의 비율을 통해 보다 정밀한 진단 기준을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 간세포암의 진단 정확도를 높이기 위해 가옥산 에이전트 강화-MRI에서 병변의 탈색( Washout ) 반응을 다양한 영상 단계에서 평가하는 기준을 비교·개발하고 있다. 고도의 분자 구조, 특히 16중 교차를 가진 고차원 분자 링크( molecular knot )의 합성과 구조 규명을 통해 분자 기계 및 생체 모방 소재의 기초를 다지고 있다. 최근에는 이뮤노모듈레이터인 IL-10 유전자 다형성과 이식 후 만성 GVHD의 연관성, CML의 발병 기전과 관련된 Apoptosis, Angiogenesis 등 다양한 유전자 다형성 연구도 진행 중이다.

This study determined the normative value of MRI-based ONSD in healthy Korean adults. There was a strong correlation between the ETD and ONSD, which can be presented as the ONSD/ETD ratio. This parameter needs to be investigated further in disease populations.
