김기석 교수의 연구실은 주로 2차원 물질과 이방성 산화물 헤테로구조를 중심으로 전자 구조의 재편성과 양자물리 현상이 나타나는 미세 구조에서의 전기적, 전자적 성질을 연구합니다. 특히 단일층 계면에서의 전하 순서 전이, 페르미 표면의 완벽한 네스팅 현상, 그리고 와이울 메탈에서의 카이랄 이상 현상 등 고체 물리학의 핵심 문제를 다룹니다. 나노소재의 정밀 가공 및 저온 성장 기술을 접목해, 나노스케일에서의 전자기기 응용 가능성을 탐색하고 있습니다.

Abstract The improvement of the light extraction efficiency (LEE) of a conventional InGaN blue light‐emitting diode (LED) by the incorporation of one‐dimensional ZnO sub‐microrods is reported.
