연구실 소개

김광우 교수의 연구실은 주로 자가면역질환, 특히 류마티스성 관절염과 시스템성 홍반성 루푸스의 유전적 기반과 환경 요인 간의 상호작용을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 HLA 유전자 다형성과 흡연 등의 환경적 요인이 류마티스성 관절염 발병에 미치는 상호작용을 아미노산 수준에서 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 유전적 위험 점수와 임상적 요인의 통합 분석을 통해 질환의 발달 메커니즘을 해석하고자 합니다. 또한, 자가면역질환의 유전적 기초를 규명하는 데 있어 고해상도 유전자 분석 및 생물정보학적 접근을 적극 활용하고 있습니다.
