연구실 소개
허규하 교수의 연구실은 신장 이식 분야에서의 임상적 도전 과제를 해결하고자 하는 학문적 접근을 바탕으로 합니다. 특히 혈액형 O 수혜자에 대한 기증자 교환 프로그램의 한계, 항수용체 항체(AT1R-Abs)의 임상적 영향, 이식 후 신기능 회복 상태가 장기 예후에 미치는 영향 등에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 또한 이식 수술 전후의 면역 반응 및 신경생리학적 변화에 대한 기초 연구를 병행하여, 환자의 장기적인 생존율과 삶의 질 향상을 위한 종합적 접근을 추구하고 있습니다.

BACKGROUND: Anti-angiotensin II type 1 receptor antibodies (AT1R-Abs) have been suggested as a risk factor for graft failure and acute rejection (AR). However, the prevalence and clinical significance of pretransplant AT1R-Abs have seldom been evaluated in Asia. METHODS: In this multicenter, observational cohort study, we tested the AT1R-Abs in pretransplant serum samples obtained from 166 kidney transplant recipients. Statistical analysis was used to set a threshold AT1R-Abs level at 9.05 U/mL.

We investigated the integrity of attentional mechanisms following unilateral intracarotid amobarbital injection in 23 patients undergoing preoperative evaluation for epilepsy surgery. Performance for ipsilateral hand-button response to a quasi-random strobe flash was markedly altered following unilateral amobarbital injection as evidenced by decreased correct responses and increased perseverative errors.
