연구실 소개
김규보 교수의 연구실은 유방암, 흉선암, 갑상선암 등 다양한 종류의 암에서 치료 전략의 최적화를 목표로 하며, 특히 암의 국소 진행성과 전이 억제를 위한 방사선 치료 및 보조 치료 전략의 유효성을 대규모 환자 데이터를 기반으로 분석하고 있습니다. 주로 임상적 예후 인자와 치료 반응 간의 상관관계를 유전자 및 분자 생물학적 수준에서 규명하며, 특히 암의 진행 메커니즘과 치료 반응 예측 모델 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 연구는 임상 적용에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 정밀의료 기반의 암 치료 전략 수립을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

Airway mucin secretion and MC (mast cell) degranulation must be tightly controlled for homoeostasis of the lungs and immune system respectively. Adjuvant chemoradiotherapy after curative resection can achieve a long-term survival in patients with EHBD cancer. Resection margin status, number of involved lymph nodes, and histologic differentiation are associated with locoregional relapse, distant metastasis, and overall survival, respectively. Distant metastasis was the major pattern of failure, possibly due to the increased locoregional control by use of adjuvant chemoradiotherapy. Intensification of systemic treatment is warranted.
