연구실 소개
김규헌 교수의 연구실은 3D 포인트 클라우드 압축 기술과 고성능 반도체 소재의 광물리적 특성 분석을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 비디오 기반 포인트 클라우드 압축(V-PCC)과 기하학 기반 포인트 클라우드 압축(G-PCC) 기술을 통해 대용량 3D 데이터의 효율적 저장 및 전송을 연구하며, β-Ga₂O₃와 텔루르 기반 초박막 소재의 광학적 특성 및 결함 메커니즘을 분석하여 차세대 UV 발광 소자 및 전자 소자의 핵심 소재 기반을 마련하고자 합니다. 또한 음성 인식 및 이미지 검색 기술을 통해 다국어·다언어 음성 인식 및 다중 특징 융합 기반 이미지 검색 시스템 개발도 진행하고 있습니다.

We propose an image retrieval system using the Borda count method in combining multiple experts (CME). It combines color-, shape- and texture-based retrieval systems. CME method can complementarily combine results of each retrieval system, which uses different features. Fast binary dilation and erosion algorithms using run-length encoding (RLE) are proposed. RLE is an alternative way of representing a binary image using a run, which is a sequence of ‘1’ pixels.
