최경아 교수의 연구실은 시각적 환경가치와 감정적 반응의 상호작용을 중심으로, 전시공간, 가상현실, 무대 조명, 주거환경 등 다양한 환경에서 재료, 조명, 공간 구성이 사용자 경험에 미치는 영향을 탐구합니다. 특히 가상현실 기반의 감성적 몰입, 조명의 색온도와 조합이 정서적 반응에 미치는 영향, 노출 콘크리트와 같은 재료의 감성적 인식 개선 전략을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 이는 실생활 환경 설계에서 인간의 감정과 행동에 영향을 미치는 요소를 과학적으로 분석하고자 하는 목적이 있습니다.
