한경은 교수의 연구실은 주로 각막 손상, 안과 질환의 분자 기전 및 치료법 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 알칼리화상 손상 모델을 활용한 생체유래 물질(아미니오티스 막, 순환혈청 등)의 치료 효과 평가와 함께, 유전적 요인에 기인한 각막병변(예: GCD2)의 발현 양상 규명에 힘쓰고 있습니다. 또한 레이저 수술 후 합병증 예방을 위한 정밀한 전술 전 평가 및 고주파 전기외과 치료법의 안전성·효능에 대한 연구도 진행 중입니다.
