연구실 소개
민경현 교수의 연구실은 생체모방 광물화 기반의 하이브리드 나노소재를 개발하여 암 진료와 치료의 융합(theranostics)을 실현하고자 합니다. 초음파 및 광음향 영상 기반 진단과 함께 약물 전달, 유전자 치료, 광열 치료를 통합한 다기능 나노입자를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 특히 칼슘탄산염 및 금 나노로드를 기반으로 한 나노캐리어의 설계와 응용에 특화되어 있습니다. 또한 주로 신경 재생 및 피부·혈관 등 조직 재건 분야의 생체재료 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다.

15We report a theranostic nanoparticle that can express ultrasound (US) imaging and simultaneous therapeutic functions for cancer treatment. In this review, we describe the research trends of hybrid nanocarriers developed based on a biomimetic mineralization process, and their recent applications in imaging and therapy of cancers.
