연구실 소개

박경일 교수의 연구실은 심혈관 질환의 진단 및 치료 전략 개선을 목표로 하며, 특히 혈관 조영술 기반의 혈류율 측정(FFR)을 통한 재활성화 결정 기준 설정과 급성 심근경색 환자의 항응고 요법이 미세혈관 기능에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 해양 생물, 특히 망고게의 집단적 폐사 원인으로서의 Perkinsus 기생충 감염과 환경 온도 변화의 영향에 대해서도 생태학적·면역학적 접근을 통해 원인 규명을 추구하고 있습니다. 이처럼 임상 심장학과 생태독성학을 융합한 다학제적 연구가 특징입니다.

Mass mortality of the Manila clam, Ruditapes philippinarum has been reported all along the west and south coast of Korea for the past several years. As a pathogenic agent, Perkinsus sp., an endoparasitic protozoan has been identified in this study and believed to be responsible for the mass mortalities.
