The main purpose of this thesis is to arrange travel description to Manchuria and explain the meaning of that. There were lots of Korean writers to travel to Manchuria in 1940s' period. And they wrrote the account of trip, wrote the novel arelated to that subject. But this trip was compulsed by Japanese imperialism. Therefore they were putted to the test on the pro-japanese or not. 1930년대 조선의 특출한 평론가 임화가 염상섭 소설의 문체를 석판화 같다고 비판한다. 외래적 영향이 강하다는 의미이다. 이 글에서는 이런 평가에 의문을 제기한다. 이인직이 외국어 앞에서 이질감을 느꼈고 김동인은 우리말과 일본어 사이의 과거형, 3인칭, 시점의 간극에 주저하고 있었다. 염상섭은 이를 넘어서 그의 ‘석판화’같은 외래적인 문체 즉 그의 ‘혼용체’로 일본의 풍경을 전면적으로 재현하고 있다. 이것은 전면적인 언어적 ‘외화’라 할 수 있다. 그런데 식민지 출신 유학생의 근대적 교육기관의 진입과 그들의 이중 언어의 구사, 그리고 식민지와 식민모국으로의 여로는 민족 관념을 생성하기 시작한다. ‘외래적인 것’으로의 전면적인 외화, 그리고 이 외화의 효과로 빚어진 조선의 재인식이 「묘지」에서 고려공사 판 『만세전』까지의 개작 과정이며 염상섭이 조선작가로의 재탄생하는 과정이다. 염상섭은 이런 의미에서 비로소 근대조선의 작가가 된다. 그렇다면 염상섭에게 ‘외래적인 것’은 불행의 계기가

이 연구는 최명익 소설에 드러난 윤리 탐구의 양상을 검토한 것이다. 실체적으로 존재했던 윤리의 체계가 붕괴된 근대사회에서 윤리의 준칙은 역사적 상대주의나 개인의 자아의 주관적 윤리학으로 전락하였다. 따라서 전통적 가치들로 쉽게 회귀하고자 하는 움직임도 역사적으로 종종 발현되고 있었고 그것이 지니는 부정적 성격은 역사가 증명하는 바이다. 최명익의 경우, 이 사태에 직면하여 나름의 윤리적 실험과 탐구를 소설을 통해 수행한다. 그는 자신의 작품을 통해 극한 상황을 연출하여 상식적 경험의 윤리가 어떻게 윤리다운 윤리, 실재의 윤리로 승화될 수 있는가에 대해 탐구했다고 할 수 있다. 본고에서는 「비오는 거리」, 「무성격자」,「심문」을 집중적으로 분석하면서 그의 윤리 탐구의 양상과 의의를 밝혀내고자 했다.

This thesis attempts to show that Han, Seol-Ya criticize the KAPF's logical limit and the transplantation character of the movement theory. Han, Seol-ya' critics are characterized by marginal area of KAPF which he exist in. This Position gives the discreet view point against KAPF to him but he fell down at the same stage because of the equal epistemology.

본 논문은 이호철의 「소시민」에 나타난 윤리의식을 검토한 것이다. 한국 전쟁 후의 소시민화 양상을 작가는 이 작품에서 집중적으로 의미화하고 있다. 본고에서는 이 작업 속에 드러난 인물들의 윤리성을 살펴본다. 세계에 대한 주체들의 의식과 이에 따르는 행위의 양태를 분류함으로써 이 행위들의 윤리적 의미를 분석하고자 한다. 이러한 작업은 현대소설의 기본 구조가 고전 비극과는 다른 현대비극의 특징을 모체로 하고 있다는 판단에 기초한다. 고전 비극이 문제적 개인의 운명적 오류로 인한 비극이었다면 현대비극의 원인은 사회가 제공한다. 개인은 그 비극적 사회의 좌표 속에서 개별자로 놓인다. 각 개인이 비극적 좌표를 어떻게 인식하느냐의 여부에 따라 그의 행위의 양태도 달라진다. 그 앎과 행위의 첫째 유형은 모르고 행하는 유형, 둘째 유형은 알고 행하지 않는 유형, 셋째는 알고도 행하는 유형, 넷째는 알고도 그럼에도 행하는 유형이다. 이 유형 분석을 통해 윤리적 행위란 무엇인가에 대한 작가의 견해를

본고는 허준의 「잔등」에 나타난 인물의 주체성의 성격에 대한 연구이다. 이 작품에서 작가는 주인공이 장춘에서 출발하여 회령, 청진을 거쳐 경성으로 향하는 여로를 그리고 있다. 작가가 만주국 신경에서 활동하다 귀국했기에 자전적인 내용이라 해도 무방하다. 이 작품에는 주인공이 만주국에서 일본의 패망으로 인해 탈출하는 과정이 먼저 그려진다. 그리고 이 탈출과 귀향은 전쟁 난민의 그것이었기에, 해방된 조선에 기꺼이 귀환하는 망명객의 희망찬 귀향과는 정서상이나 주인공의 주체성 상에 큰 차이가 있음을 여실히 보여주고 있다. 논자는 이 점이 바로 이 작품의 가치를 드러내는 부분이라고 본다. 작가는 전재민으로서의 주인공이 어떻게 귀향이라는 제의를 통해 조선인으로 변화해 가는가를 그 내면묘사를 통해 상세히 그려내고 있다. 전재민과 귀향자와의 간극이 어떤 매개를 거쳐 어떤 방식으로 극복되는가를 몇 가지 중요한 장면을 연출하여 그려낸다. 굴곡진 삶을 사는 만주국 농민인 매부, 청진 근처 농촌에서 도주하
