연구실 소개
이주용 교수의 연구실은 통신 네트워크의 효율성과 안정성을 높이기 위한 핵심 기술 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 특히 OFDMA 및 WiMAX 기반 이동통신 시스템에서의 대역폭 최적화, 대기열 제어, 전력 할당 전략 등 QoS 보장을 위한 알고리즘 설계에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 실시간 생체 신호 측정 기술과의 융합 연구도 진행 중입니다. 연구는 이론 분석과 시뮬레이션을 기반으로 하여 실용적인 시스템 설계에 기여하고자 합니다.

15In OFDMA systems adopting fractional frequency reuse, we can allocate orthogonal bandwidth to femtocells, which mitigates throughput degradation of macrocell users. In this paper, we discuss the optimal power allocation for femtocells with different orthogonal subbands, based on analysis of macrocell interferences.
This paper designs a distributed Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) adaptation algorithm for IEEE802.11e Enhanced Distributed Channel Access (EDCA). Each node measures its throughput in a window and compares it with a target value. If the measured throughput is higher than the target value, the node reduces its TXOP, otherwise if the measured value is less than the target throughput, the node increases its TXOP. We show that the target throughput can be achieved in a globally stable manner.
