연구실 소개
김만석 교수의 연구실은 식물병원균인 페루스퍼마균(Fusarium verticillioides)과 옥수수 간의 상호작용을 중심으로, 병원균의 병원성 유전 메커니즘과 작물의 면역 반응을 전사체 네트워크와 생물정보학적 분석을 통해 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 RNA-Seq 기반 공진성 네트워크 분석과 병원성 관련 유전자 모듈 탐색을 통해 병원균에 의한 병징을 유도하는 분자 기전을 밝혀내는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한, 종양 미세환경 내 미토콘드리아 이행과 같은 새로운 병리 생물학적 메커니즘에 대해서도 다각도로 연구를 확장하고 있습니다.
