최민하 교수의 연구실은 수문학, 대기-지표면 상호작용 및 기후변화 영향 평가를 중심으로, 토양_moisture, 증발발산, 도시열섬 현상 등 지표면 에너지 수문순환 과정을 원격감지 및 모델링 기반으로 연구합니다. 특히 대규모 강하수계와 도시 환경에서의 수자원 소비, 기후변화에 따른 수문적 변화를 정량적으로 평가하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 세계 곳곳의 다양한 기후 및 지형 조건에서의 적용 가능성을 탐색하고 있습니다.

The rapid development of urban areas can potentially alter hydro-meteorological fluxes and lead to the Urban Heat Island (UHI) phenomenon.
