신민정 교수의 연구실은 심혈관 대사질환 예방을 위한 식이요법과 생활습관 개선 전략을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 항산화제인 퀘르세틴의 혈행지질 및 염증 반응에 미치는 영향, 비만과 관련된 장내 미생물군의 변화, 비만과 간지방간의 메타볼릭 기전 등에서 식품성 성분과 대사 건강의 상관관계를 탐구하고 있습니다. 또한 비만, 당뇨, 우울증 등과 관련된 비타민 D 수치와의 연관성, 수면 시간이 생존율에 미치는 영향 등 인구기반의 전반적 건강 위험 요인 분석도 함께 수행하고 있습니다.

비만과 대사증후군 동반 여부에 따른 한국 성인 여성의영양소 섭취 상태 평가

본 연구에서는 우리나라 40세 이상 성인 여성을 대상으로비만의 대사적 특성을 반영하고자 체질량지수 외에 대사증후군 동반 여부에 따라 비만도를 세분화하였으며, 세분화된그룹에 따라 영양소 섭취의 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다. 1) 전체 대상자 중 대사증후군이 동반되지 않은 비비만군은 47.6%, 대사증후군이 동반된 비비만군은 13.6%, 대사증후군이 동반되지 않은 비만군은 16.6%, 대사증후군이 동반된 비만군은 22.2%였다. 비만인 중 대사증후군이 동반되지 않은 비만군은 42.8%, 대사증후군이 동반된 비만군은57.2%였다. 2) 체질량지수에 의한 비만 분류와 대사증후군 동반 여부에 따른 분류의 일치도를 평가한 결과, 전반적으로 일치도가낮았으며 중년에 비해 노인에서 일치도가 더욱 낮았다. 3) 61세 이상 대상자에서, 대사증후군이 동반되지 않은 비만군은 대사증후군이 동반되지 않은 비비만군, 대사증후군이 동반된 비비만군, 대사증후군이 동반된 비만군에 비해 탄수화물 섭취 비율은 낮고, 단백
