이명재 교수의 연구실은 기본 입자 물리학과 어두운 물질 탐색을 중심으로 한 고에너지 물리학 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 뮤온의 자기모멘트 측정, 레프톤-보존 반응을 통한 새로운 보존 입자 탐색, 그리고 레프톤 간의 flavor 위반 반응을 연구하며 표준모형을 넘어서는 물리학을 탐구하고 있습니다. COMET 실험과 같은 국제 공동 연구를 통해 뮤온에서 전자의 전환을 탐지하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 이는 레프톤의 수명을 넘어서는 새로운 물리학의 열쇠가 될 수 있습니다.

A distinct peak is observed in the pi +/- psi' invariant mass distribution near 4.43 GeV in B-->K pi +/- psi' decays. We present a study of tau(-)->pi(-)pi(+)pi(-)nu(tau), tau(-) -> K-pi(+)pi(-)nu(tau), tau(-) -> K-K+ pi(-)nu(tau), and tau(-) -> K-K+K-nu(tau) decays using a 666 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric- energy e(+)e(-) collider at and near a center- of- mass energy of 10.58 GeV. The branching fractions are measured to be B(tau(-)->pi(-)pi(+)pi(-)nu(tau)) = (8.42 +/- 0.00(-0.25)(+0.26)) x 10(-2), B(tau(-)-> K-pi(+)pi(-)nu(tau)) = 3.30 +/- 0.01(
