연구실 소개

정명수 교수의 연구실은 주로 식물에서 유용한 생체활성 성분을 효율적으로 추출하는 친환경적 추출 기술, 특히 고온고압의 수분을 이용한 서브크리티컬워터 추출(SWE) 기반의 신소재 및 기능성 성분 추출 기술을 핵심으로 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 다이어트, 항산화, 항염 등의 기능성을 지닌 폴리페놀, 안토시아닌, 플라바노이드 등 다양한 생체활성 물질의 최적 추출 조건을 규명하고 있으며, 전기장 처리와 같은 사전 처리 기술을 접목해 추출 효율을 극대화하는 데에도 주력하고 있습니다. 이와 더불어 식품 포장용 나노복합재료 개발을 통해 기능성 물질의 안정성 및 응용 가능성을 동시에 확장하고 있습니다.

Subcritical-water extraction is an ecofriendly method for extracting antioxidant compounds only using water.
