연구실 소개

정남현 교수의 연구실은 환경 독성학과 생물학적 분해를 중심으로, 토양 내 유기오염물질의 이동성과 생물가용성 변화를 연구합니다. 특히 페나란트렌, 아트라진과 같은 유기오염물질의 오래된 상태에서의 고착화 메커니즘과, 농도 및 토양 특성에 따른 생물학적 분해 저항성 변화를 다룹니다. 또한 나노입자 형태와 크기가 세포 독성에 미치는 영향, 그리고 자가치유 콘크리트 내 박테리아의 생존성 향상 기술 등 환경과 생물 간의 상호작용을 다각도로 탐구하고 있습니다.

Differences in Sequestration and Bioavailability of Organic Compounds Aged in Dissimilar Soils

Phenanthrene and atrazine were aged for 200 days in sterilized samples of 16 soils that differed greatly in physical and chemical properties. At regular intervals during the aging period, the extent of sequestration was determined by measurement of biodegradation of the compounds by bacteria and the amounts extracted by a mild extraction procedure. Effect of Concentration on Sequestration and Bioavailability of Two Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons

A study was conducted to determine the effect of concentration on sequestration and bioavailability of phenanthrene and pyrene in soil. The compounds at 1.0, 10, and 100 mg/kg of soil became increasingly resistant to a mild solvent extraction and progressively less bioavailable to earthworms ( Eisenia foetida ) as a result of aging for 120 days. Aging also resulted in both compounds at 1.0 and 10 mg/kg and phenanthrene but not pyrene at 100 mg/kg becoming more resistant to microbial degradation.

Abstract The insecticidal toxicities of five essential oils against Pochazia shantungensis adults and nymphs, newly recorded pests, were evaluated.
