오미애 교수의 연구실은 자폐성장애의 생물학적 기반과 조기 진단 체계 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 미토콘드리아 기능 이상과 관련된 생화학적 바이오마커를 규명하고, 한국어 환경에 맞는 조기 스크리닝 도구(예: BeDevel) 및 문화적 적합성 있는 사회기술훈련 프로그램(예: PEERS®-YA)의 개발·적용을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 자폐 스펙트럼 장애의 임상적 특성과 심리사회적 요인 간의 상관관계를 다각도로 분석하고 있습니다.

Remofuscin (soraprazan) improves age-related eye diseases by removing lipofuscin from retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells. We consider a linear regression model where there are group structures in covariates. The group LASSO has been proposed for group variable selections. Many nonconvex penalties such as smoothly clipped absolute deviation and minimax concave penalty were extended to group variable selection problems. This study validates behavior development screening for toddlers (BeDevel), which utilizes a combination of short caregiver interviews (BeDevel-I) and semistructured play observations (BeDevel-P).
