방오영 교수의 연구실은 뇌졸중 치료 분야에서 혁신적인 세포 치료와 혈관 복구 전략을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 혈관성 뇌경색에서의 혈행 재개와 뇌 허혈 펜브라 보존을 위한 혈관 병변의 역할, 특히 혈관 순환의 기초적 기전과 임상적 응용을 탐구하고 있습니다. 또한 자가 유래 간엽줄기세포를 활용한 뇌졸중 치료의 안정성과 유효성을 다각도로 평가하며, 장기적 추적 관찰을 통한 임상적 실현 가능성을 높이고 있습니다.

Our data suggest that angiographic collateral grade and penumbral volume interactively shape tissue fate in patients undergoing endovascular recanalisation therapy.
