안세희 교수의 연구실은 방사선 의학 및 방사선 옹호 기반의 신재료 개발과 고성능 방사선 치료 기법의 최적화를 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히, 나노입자를 활용한 방사선 감도 향상, 고체 상태의 방사선 검출기(예: RPC)의 성능 향상, 그리고 소형 프로톤 치료에서의 방사선 분포 최적화 기술 개발을 주요 연구 방향으로 하고 있습니다. 이는 임상적 적용에 적합한 정밀한 방사선 치료 시스템의 구현을 목표로 합니다.
