연구실 소개

김상희 교수의 연구실은 주로 식물의 병원균 저항성 메커니즘과 유전자 조절을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 내재된 병원균 저항 유전자(RPS5)를 활용한 병원균 신규 감염에 대비한 유전자 기반 저항성 향상 기술과, microRNA 생합성 및 가공 과정에서 핵심적인 역할을 하는 캡 결합 단백질의 기능을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 식물에서의 면역 반응 조절, 특히 NLR 수용체 기반의 에피제터-트리거드 면역 경로와 FLC 유전자 발현 조절 메커니즘에 대한 분자 기전 연구도 진행 중입니다.

We have determined the size distribution of polarizing interstellar dust grains based on electromagnetic scattering by spheroidal particles, extending our original work based on infinite cylinders. Shapes and alignment variants included the following: perfectly aligned oblate particles with axial ratios 1.414:1, 2:1, 4:1, and 6:1, picket fence prolate particles with axial ratios 2:1 and 4:1, and 2:1 prolate particles with perfect spinning alignment. Our analysis is based on bare silicate grains.

Two new fusicoccane diterpenes, named periconicins A (1) and B (2), with antibacterial activities have been isolated by bioassay-guided fractionation from an endophytic fungus Periconia sp., collected from small branches of Taxus cuspidata.
