연구실 소개

권상훈 교수의 연구실은 주로 구조지질학과 고압·고온 변성암학을 기반으로 하여, 특히 고지구권에서의 암석 변성 및 구조적 변형 과정을 해석하는 데 중점을 두고 있습니다. 주요 연구 주제로는 해양판의 하부면에서 발생하는 태양풍-지각 상호작용, 복합적 확장-수축 구조를 가진 분지의 형성 메커니즘, 그리고 고압-고온 환경에서의 불균형 반응과 유체 영향을 고려한 암석의 상변화를 다룹니다. 특히, 세이비어 접촉대와 같은 자연적 구조를 3차원 유한요소 모델링을 통해 기계적 거동을 정량적으로 분석함으로써 지구물리학적 메커니즘을 규명하고자 합니다.

During subduction, continental margins experience shortening along with inversion of extensional sedimentary basins. Here we explore a tectonic scenario for the inversion of two-phase extensional basin systems, where the Early−Middle Jurassic intra-arc volcano-sedimentary Oseosan Volcanic Complex was developed on top of the Late Triassic−Early Jurassic post-collisional sequences, namely the Chungnam Basin.
