연구실 소개

이상훈 교수의 연구실은 인간 배아 줄기세포를 이용한 신경세포 유도 및 도파민 신경세포 생성 기법을 개발하며, 파킨슨병 치료를 위한 세포대체요법의 기반을 마련하고자 한다. 특히 비타민 C가 도파민 신경세포 분화에 미치는 epigenetic 조절 기전과 DNA 복제와 관련된 단백질 복합체(Activator 1, PCNA 등)의 기능을 규명하는 데에도 집중하고 있다. 이는 신경계 발달 및 퇴행성 질환의 분자 기전 해명에 기여한다.
