연구실 소개
김상민 교수의 연구실은 주로 약용식물의 생합성 경로, 특히 고목나무(Ginkgo biloba)에서 유래하는 이테르페노이드 계열 화합물의 생합성 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 염증성 사이토카인과 관련된 암 전이 메커니즘, 특히 IL-1β에 의한 유방암 세포의 이동 및 침투에 영향을 미치는 천연물질(예: 제룸본)의 작용 기전을 규명하고자 합니다. 최근에는 정형외과 수술 후 혈전 예방을 위한 항응고제의 안전성과 유효성에 관한 임상 연구도 함께 수행하고 있습니다. 이 모든 연구는 자연물 기반 신약 개발과 관련된 분자 기전 규명을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

This prospective study was conducted to report the effect of oral factor Xa inhibitor and low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) on surgical complications following total hip arthroplasty (THA). The patients with an age < 60 years were randomly assigned to three groups (rivaroxaban, enoxaparin, and placebo) and the patients with an age ≥ 60 years were assigned to two groups (rivaroxaban and enoxaparin). All drug regimens started at 12 hours postoperatively and continued for two weeks after surgery.
Ultraviolet (UV) irradiation accelerates formation of ceramide through hydrolysis of sphingomyelin and de novo synthesis. Here, we investigated the effects of ceramide on UV-induced matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) expression in human dermal fibroblasts. Our results showed that acidic-sphingomyelinase (aSMase) and MMP-1 mRNA expression were increased by UV irradiation.
