연구실 소개
한상아 교수의 연구실은 주로 암 발생과 진행 메커니즘을 규명하기 위해 종양 suppressor 단백질과 E3 리가아제의 상호작용, 특히 pVHL과 WSB1, SKP2 등의 단백질이 조절하는 신호전달 경로를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한 갑상선암, 유방암, 난소암 등 특정 암 종류에서의 유전자 변이(예: BRCA1/2, BRAF, FOSB SNPs)와 임상적 특성 간의 연관성 분석을 통해 암의 조기 진단 및 개인 맞춤 치료 전략 수립에 기여하고자 합니다. 특히, 암의 분자 기전과 생물학적 마커를 규명함으로써, 진단 및 예후 평가에 활용 가능한 생물학적 지표를 발굴하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.

15The von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor pVHL is an E3 ligase that targets hypoxia-inducible factors (HIFs). Mutation of VHL results in HIF up-regulation and contributes to processes related to tumor progression such as invasion, metastasis, and angiogenesis.
