연구실 소개

이상호 교수의 연구실은 생물학적 분자 및 단백질의 구조적 변화와 기능적 기전을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 유제품 단백질의 계면에서의 구조 변화, 스트레스 유도 생식 기능 저하의 분자 기전, 간에서의 사이클로옥시제나아제 P450 효소의 기능 저하 메커니즘, 그리고 ESCRT 시스템이 세포 내 단백질 분해와 내재화에 미치는 영향에 대해 다각도로 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 유전자 변이와 관련된 내분비계 질환, 특히 파ara갑상선호르몬 분비세포의 전사 인자 GCMB의 기능 이상이 초래하는 저칼슘혈증의 분자 기전을 규명하고 있습니다.

Changes and Roles of Secondary Structures of Whey Protein for the Formation of Protein Membrane at Soy Oil/Water Interface under High-Pressure Homogenization

The conformational changes of whey proteins upon adsorption at the soy oil/water interface were investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. Significant changes were observed in the bands assigned to beta-sheets and alpha-helix structures following the adsorption of proteins at the oil/water interface. The effects of polymicrobial sepsis on the activity and gene expression of hepatic microsomal cytochrome P450 (CYP) were examined. Rats were subjected to polymicrobial sepsis by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP). Liver and blood samples were taken 2, 6, and 24 h after CLP.
