김상욱 교수의 연구실은 대용량 시계열 데이터 처리 및 효율적 정보 검색 기반의 스마트 시스템 설계를 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 시간 왜곡을 고려한 유사도 검색, 형태 기반 시계열 검색, 영향력 최대화 문제 등에서 고성능 알고리즘과 다차원 인덱싱 기법을 개발하며, 실시간 데이터 처리와 네트워크 환경에 적합한 스트리밍 기술도 함께 연구하고 있습니다. 특히, 실제 응용 분야에서의 성능과 정확도를 동시에 확보하는 데 중점을 두고 있으며, 소셜 네트워크, 우주항공, 스마트 미디어 등 다양한 분야에 응용 가능한 기술 기반을 구축하고 있습니다.
