연구실 소개
김세현 교수의 연구실은 정신질환, 특히 조현병과 우울증의 신경생물학적 기전을 히스톤 에이세틸화 조절, 전사 인자(EGR 유전자), 그리고 신경 회로의 유전자 발현 변화를 중심으로 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 항정신병제의 작용 기전, 전기경련자극(ECS)이 뇌의 염색체 구조와 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향, 그리고 항암 치료 내성 메커니즘 등에 대한 분자생물학적 접근을 통해 정신질환의 새로운 치료 타겟을 탐색하고 있습니다. 최근에는 CRC의 전임상 생물학적 마커로 Wnt 경로 유전자 메틸화의 임상적 의미를 규명하는 데에도 기여하고 있습니다.
