김성수 교수의 연구실은 메조다공성 소재 및 고분자 나노섬유 분야에서 핵심적인 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 고온·고수열 안정성을 확보한 메조다공성 실리카 소재의 설계와 제조, 그리고 전기纺용 나노섬유를 활용한 고강도 복합재료 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. PVDF 기반 전기적 기계적 성질을 극대화하기 위한 공정 제어 및 다이폴 모멘트 정렬 기술도 핵심 연구 주제입니다. 이는 에너지 수확, 센서, 생체의료 등 응용 분야로의 확장이 기대됩니다.
