연구실 소개
홍승철 교수의 연구실은 뇌질환, 특히 뇌경련성 질환과 뇌혈관 질환의 기전 규명 및 치료 전략 개발을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 뇌졸중 후 신경세포 손상 메커니즘에서 칼슘 의존성 단백분해효소(calpain)의 역할을 규명하고, 고빈도 뇌파(HFO)를 이용한 발작灶 정밀 추적 및 수술 계획 수립 기술을 개발하고 있습니다. 또한 척수성 간질 환자의 뇌 대사 변화 분석과 병변 시각화가 어려운 뇌이상성 피질 이상성의 수술적 치료 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다.
