연구실 소개

임승훈 교수의 연구실은 뇌하우스 및 두개저 종양의 최소침습적 수술 접근법 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 내 endoscopic transorbital approach(ETOA)를 활용한 두개저 병변의 수술적 치료 전략을 연구하고 있습니다. 뇌하우스 종양의 정확한 진단과 분류를 위해 전사 인자 기반의 WHO 신분류 체계 적용 및 분자생물학적 기반의 치료 타겟 탐색도 함께 진행 중입니다. 특히 뇌신경종양, 간질성 뇌종양, 척추동맥 분열aneurysm 등의 병변에 대한 혈관내 치료 전략 개발도 연구 영역에 포함됩니다.
