연구실 소개
김승현 교수의 연구실은 신경퇴행성질환, 특히 뇌경색과 근위축성 경화증(ALS) 치료를 위한 줄기세포 기반 신규 치료 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 자가 유래 골수 유래 간엽줄기세포(MSC)의 면역조절 및 신경보호 작용 메커니즘을 규명하고, 그 효과를 예측할 수 있는 생물학적 마커를 도출하는 데 주력하고 있습니다. 또한, 미세아교세포의 활성화 상태를 조절하는 TGF-β 신호 경로의 역할을 중심으로 신경염증 반응을 조절하는 새로운 치료 전략을 모색하고 있습니다.
